A new major shareholder has acquired a 33% stake in the Italian yacht builder giant.
Azimut-Benetti President Giovanna Vitelli believes that the partnership with PIF opens up long-term prospects for the group of companies, including in the Middle East, a region that is experiencing rapid development.
The Vitelli family, which nevertheless retains a controlling stake and the right to manage Azimut-Benetti, through its own financial strength and with the help of PIF, plans synergies with other sectors of the economy for global growth.
