Nord Star Superyachts attended the official keel-laying ceremony of the 35-metre expedition yacht Atlas 35 at the Heysea Yachts shipyard.
The ceremony brought together the shipyard’s management, engineers and specialists involved in the yacht’s construction.
One of the key moments of the ceremony was the welding of a commemorative metal plate bearing the yacht’s hull number. The Nord Star Superyachts team personally took part in this longstanding maritime tradition, marking an important milestone in the construction process.

ATLAS 35 — FROM CONCEPT TO CONSTRUCTION
Atlas 35 was conceived as a modern ocean-going explorer yacht, combining long-range cruising capabilities, excellent seaworthiness and onboard comfort for extended voyages.
The concept was developed by Nord Star Superyachts to meet the owner’s individual requirements and subsequently transformed into a fully developed custom yacht project in collaboration with Heysea Yachts and VYD Studio.

Measuring 35.96 metres in length, Atlas 35 will feature a steel hull, an aluminium superstructure and a range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. The yacht is designed for unrestricted ocean-going navigation.
Atlas 35 reflects Nord Star Superyachts‘ comprehensive approach to custom yacht projects — from initial concept development and shipyard selection to project coordination and construction supervision on behalf of the owner.

The keel-laying ceremony marks a significant milestone in the development of Atlas 35, as the project moves forward into the next stages of construction.
Construction of Atlas 35 is progressing, and Nord Star Superyachts will continue to share updates on the key milestones in the creation of this new expedition yacht.
