Nord Star Superyachts is proud to announce that new semi-custom 26 meter motor yacht Bering 80 was handed over to the Owner in the international waters. Earlier in May she successfully completed sea trials in the Mediterranean sea, showing a maximum speed of 10.5 knots.
The Bering 80 is a compact all-terrain explorer designed like a superyacht. One of the most popular expeditionary models of the shipyard today is also one of the most “long-range” in its class. The yacht’s tanks hold more than 38 tons of fuel, thanks to which the vessel can sail distances of up to 5 thousand miles at a speed of 8.5 knots.
The model has a classic trawler profile and can accommodate up to 10 guests and a crew of 4 people. Thanks to its wide hull (more than 8 m), the Bering 80 offers more usable space, which is especially valuable on long voyages. A reliable seaworthy steel hull expands the geographical possibilities for sailing — the yacht has a stable, smooth ride in any conditions. Good sound insulation and relatively quiet engines greatly increase travel comfort.
The four decks of the ship are well equipped and well protected from bad weather. The flybridge features an open sun deck along with a U-shaped sofa and dining area. On the upper deck there is a wheelhouse and a living room, which can be converted into a salon, cabin, library or gym if desired. The aft upper deck has enough space for two tenders or an al fresco dining area.
The main deck includes a covered aft cockpit, an enclosed saloon with sofas and a dinette, and a large galley. The bow part of the main deck is given to the owner’s apartments. Cabins for guests and crew are located on the lower level. The yacht is absolutely individual and includes any amenities that will be necessary for a specific customer.
