The Cannes Yachting Festival is coming (September 10th–15th), and we receive the information about the upcoming world premieres there. One of them is the debut superyacht Numarine 30XP.
Numarine is going to surprise those who are especially interested in eco friendly yachts with its new project – the most revolutionary superyacht explorer to date, Numarine 30XP with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system.
For the first time, the project of a composite yacht (length 30.75 m, width 7.50 m, gross tonnage 208 tons) was presented in September 2022, the year of the company’s 20th anniversary. This yacht (like previous Numarine models) was designed by designer Can Yalman. The vessel has unusual relief contours of the hull, an extremely large glass area and a raised pilothouse. The 30XP’s intelligent layout, which can be customized to suit individual owners’ requirements, provides plenty of space on the aft deck and sundeck for al fresco dining. In the stern there is a “beach club” increased to 43 square meters by folding sides and transom. This area is protected from above by a platform-cockpit raised by three steps relative to the level of the main deck. There is also a 6.25m tender garage.
The 30XP can accommodate up to 10 passengers in five cabins: four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, and the master is located forward on the main deck. This cabin features floor-to-ceiling windows, an office area and a private fold-out balcony. For five crew members, sleeping places and a wardroom are provided in the bow of the lower deck.
The interior design of this model was developed by Ofist Design studio (Istanbul). As Omer Malaz, Numarine’s founder and chairman, said of the 30XP’s interior concept, as the brand’s first diesel-electric yacht, the choice was made in favor of an eco-friendly Scandinavian design aesthetic that prioritizes simplicity, minimalism and functionality.
Customers can choose between a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain with Veth drives and MAN engines (two 560 hp units). The maximum speed of the vessel is about 13 knots, the estimated cruising range of the 30XP at a cruising speed of 11 knots will be 3000 miles.
The official press presentation of Numarine 30XP will take place on board the yacht on September 12 at 11:00. According to the shipyard, four hulls have already been sold.
