Nord Star Superyachts has its own yacht building supervision department to oversee the entire process from the birth of a project and the first sketches to handover of the completed yacht to the customer. We cooperate with all famous shipyards.

Technical Refit ⟶
Technical refit involves the repair and upgrade of a vessel's systems, including hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems, the installation of additional windows, hatches, cranes or new equipment. In practice, any repair is either complex or partially associated with updating the interior.
Thus, the requirements for the technical capabilities of the production, where the refit is carried out, and the qualifications of its personnel come to the fore.

Interior refit most often occurs without changing the layout and is of an aesthetic nature, as it is intended for visual refreshment of the habitable premises of the vessel.

Stages of yacht construction
Stage 1
Project discussion, choosing naval architect and shipyardThe most important thing is to listen to the wishes of the customer and discuss such key issues as the design concept and the degree of personalization of the yacht, the estimated construction budget and annual maintenance costs, the region of travel, their duration and the number of guests on board, the date of completion, etc.
Stage 2
Project developmentThen we prepare several alternative proposals of different models of yachts and shipyards, according to the budget and delivery time. After the project is selected, it must be worked out to the smallest detail. If it is a completely individual solution, the term for finalizing and completing the project is from 2 weeks to a month. After the agreement and signing of the construction contract, the formation of the building begins.
Stage 3
Construction and supervisionThroughout the construction period, our company controls each stage and provides the customer with regular progress reports. Our surveyors visit the shipyard for intermediate checks and adjustments. The future owner may make some changes even at this stage, but it should be understood that this may lead to some delay in delivery.
Stage 4
Completion and deliveryThe first sea trial is carried out after the yacht is launched into the water, and subsequent trials are carried out in parallel with the completion of the yacht on the water. At each stage, lists of comments are compiled and deadlines for their elimination are set. After our surveyors have carried out a thorough inspection and accepted the yacht, it is handed over to the customer representative for acceptance.
We cooperate with all famous shipyards
Managing the yacht construction process, we proceed from the wishes of the future owner and the results of the discussion of the project. Then we negotiate with several shipyards and make recommendations and proposals based on the availability of hulls, construction conditions and delivery times.

PRINCESS X80
The all-new Princess X80 for our repeat customer is near to completion as she is transported from the production line to commence sea trials. Delivery time: Winter 2024.
BERING 80
New Bering 80 is under construction now. This long-range traveler will be powered by a twin 450hp Cummins QSM-11 and will have a range of 5,000 nm.
EVO 120
Construction of the sporty & high performance Tecnomar yacht with an aluminium hull and avant-garde design. The superyacht was delivered to the owner in 2022.
PRINCESS X95
Semi custom Princess X95 motor yacht built for the experienced owner who exalts practicality and comfort. She was built in 2021 and delivered to the customer in 2022.
KALISA
Comprehensive interior and exterior refit of the magnificent Benetti Sail Devision 90, incl. hull painting, teak deck resurfacing, hardtop extension, upholstery replacements, etc.
PERINI NAVI 47
Complex customer support at all stages of yacht construction, incl. documentation revising, project management, quality and financial control.
OKKO
Technical refit of the all-aluminum tri-deck superyacht OKKO built at Mondomarine. Her naval architecture was completed in-house with interior and exterior design by Giorgio Vafiadis.
SY MERCEDES
Most elaborate conversion project from commercial tall ship to luxury pleasure sailing yacht with decks finished with extra wide teak planking and classic interiors.
HERMITAGE III
Technical and interior refit of the luxurious Horizon 130, incl. repainting of the hull, lengthening of the swimming platform, new air conditioners, overhaul of generators, new shafts and propellers.
